- Add-On Program

BGCGD's 3C Sports program is designed to offer a holistic sports experience for young athletes, emphasizing three core elements: Community, Culture, and Competition. It goes beyond the traditional concept of sports to incentivize youth engagement, instill critical life skills, and provide opportunities for personal development. The program aims to create a powerful ecosystem that fosters equity and quality in youth sports.

Industry Club Memberships

Industry Club is a hands-on career exploration and workforce development experience designed to expose youth and young adults to real industries, real professionals, and real opportunities.

Through creative projects, mentorship, workshops, site visits, and industry-connected learning experiences, members gain exposure to fields such as technology, entrepreneurship, mobility, media, design, engineering, fashion, and innovation. The program is built to help participants discover their interests, develop practical skills, and build confidence while preparing for future careers and leadership opportunities.

At BGCGD, Safety is our #1 Priority

Ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff is a responsibility that we take very seriously at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Michigan (BGCGD). Understanding the policies that guide and govern our organization’s commitment to Club and Child Safety is critically important to ensuring that staff, volunteers, parents and members all work together to create a Culture of Safety.

BGCGD staff and volunteers must meet the highest standards of safety and are required to pass an annual background check, as well as complete safety trainings provided locally and nationally by our safety partners, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. We strive to offer world-class programming in state-of-the-art facilities, and work diligently to ensure that all buildings and equipment are clean and safe.
