- BGCSM will host an adult and youth job fair on June 2nd and will hold social distanced, in-person interviews

DETROIT – May 25, 2021 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) is raising their minimum wage to $15/hr., while keeping safety, youth and staff top priority. BGCSM is looking to add over 150 jobs in metro-Detroit this summer. The organization has put a focus on raising funds to ensure adequate resources and personnel are accessible to serve the youth in southeastern Michigan, additionally hiring push expands on the BGCSM ecosystem which continues to grow and scale to improve the experience and quality for youth and create economic mobility for members of the community. The organization is looking for youth interested in being paid to work with Apple and PPG while learning about careers in STEAM, as well as youth interested in Fashion, Design, Data Science and Risk Management. Additionally, adults are needed to fill roles as program staff, front desk, academic specialist, coaching and more. Paid internship opportunities in marketing and human resources are also available. Job opportunities for both BGCSM and Ponyride are available to youth and adults 14 and up.
